DESCRIPTION:St Lawrence\, Jefferson and Lewis Informational Meeting and Training\nMonday\, June 15\, 2026 \nCSEA/VOICE invites you to join us for a very important informational Chapter Meeting and training for St Lawrence\, Jefferson and Lewis. We will give a brief update on VOICE\, DSS\, OCFS\, membership and other pertinent information. \nThe training that will be presented is “Child Abuse and Maltreatment: Protective Factors”. During this training\, panelists describe the different protective factors for child abuse and maltreatment. They explain ways educators can increase these protective factors for children. They also define child abuse\, maltreatment\, and educators’ role and responsibilities as mandated reporters. \nThis course will provide 2.5 hours in OCFS topics:\n\n#6 – Child Abuse and Maltreatment Identification and Prevention\n#8 – Statutes and Regulations Pertaining to Child Abuse and Maltreatment\n#10 – Adverse Childhood Experiences\n\nYou must register through ECETP to attend this training. DESCRIPTION:2026 CSEA VOICE Conference\nOur theme this year is “VOICE in Action” highlighting our commitment to enacting positive change for the educators\, children\, and families we serve. \nThis three-day conference is offered at no cost to you. Hotel stay\, breakfast and lunch included! \nConference check in begins on Friday\, August 14th at 7 a.m. and resumes Saturday\, August 15th from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Check in for the Welcome Gala will be on Thursday August 13th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. \nFRIDAY & SATURDAY are two FULL DAYS of workshops!
