We will give a brief update on VOICE\, DSS\, OCFS\, membership and other pertinent information. \nThe training that will be presented is “Child Abuse and Maltreatment with a Focus on Understanding Brain Injury and Prevention”. During this training\, guests review basic child abuse and maltreatment information and guidelines\, including basic mandated reporter content\, making a report\, and what happens after a report is made. They also focus on discussing what brain injuries are\, how they occur in children\, and the signs and symptoms of brain injury. Hotel stay\, breakfast and lunch included! \n\nConference check in begins on Friday\, August 14th at 7 a.m. and resumes Saturday\, August 15th from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.\nCheck in for the Welcome Gala will be on Thursday August 13th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.\n\nFRIDAY & SATURDAY are two FULL DAYS of workshops!
