LE Enhanced Rate Training (Orange, Sullivan, Dutchess, Rockland Counties)

Legally Exempt Child Care Providers who have completed 10 or more hours of training may become eligible to receive an enhanced rate from their Local Department of Social Services (DSS). That means more income for the important work you already do every day.

Light breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and training will run from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Training Breakdown
Day 1 (Saturday, June 13): Health and Safety Training for Legally Exempt Providers (6 Hours): Fulfills topics including: Nutrition & Health Needs, Safety & Security Procedures, Business Record Maintenance, Child Abuse & Maltreatment Identification, Statutes & Regulations, and Shaken Baby Syndrome prevention.
Day 2 (Saturday, June 27): Supporting Children’s Development for Legally Exempt Providers (5.5 Hours): Fulfills topics including: Principles of Childhood Development, Program Development, Safety & Security Procedures, and relevant Statutes & Regulations.
